5, 4, 3, 2, 1… 2024 has arrived and with it, all the motivation that each one of us suddenly get. We have different goals, aims and targets. We must work to reach them using this time of the year. Let´s use the beginning of the year as a spring to reach our goals. However, this atomic reaction of energy in our minds only lasts for some days, weeks or even some months.
I know this section is about supply chain management (SCM) and you will think –“What is going on here?” However, I have also mentioned this section is about you and I trying to improve our communication skills using English as a 2nd language. Here we are to help.
We must also develop other skills. In today´s paper I want to share some of the ideas that I have been reading in this holiday season. So here you have. Boost yourself. 5 short rules for this 2024.
- Act as if you were courageous. This makes you a bit braver as if one side of yourself had been challenged and wished to show it was not wholly afraid.
- Pause to reflect that others have had to face great discouragements and great obstacles and have overcome them. And what others have done, surely you can do.
- Remember that your life forces move in a sort of rhythm and if you feel depressed and without the power to face life you may be at the bottom of the trough, if you will keep up your courage, you will probably swing out of it by the very forces which at the moment are sucking you down.
- Remember you feel more defeated and downcast at night than during the daylights hours. Courage comes with the sun.
- Courage is the measure of a big soul. Try to measure it up.
Motion creates emotion. Stand up and be brave. Set up your goals and measure your results. Please, do not fail if you do not reach your aim. Please, keep working and step by step you will hit the target.
Good things are coming. Let them find you working on your goals.
Ok, keep working, keep learning and keep walking.
